DirtyLeague gives you a lot of freedom, and freedom rewards players who plan. This guide walks through the first sessions, the match-3 basics, and the habits that keep your climb fast and your resources healthy.
Start with the first tower floors
Do not rush the early stages. The first floors are gentle on purpose — they teach you the stone colors, the attack order and the timing before the real guardians show up.
Use those early wins to learn which matches trigger which heroine. The muscle memory pays off on the floors where the timer starts biting.
Look for cascades, not just matches
A single three-stone match is fine, but cascades win fights. A match that drops new stones into another match can chain attacks three or four times over.
Before you swap, scan the board for the move that will tumble stones into a second match. One patient move beats three greedy ones.
Field a squad that counters the floor
Raw power is not the point — coverage is. Check what the floor's guardian is strong against and bring the colors that answer it.
Swap heroines between fights freely. The game gives you a full roster for a reason, and the floor you failed with one lineup often falls to another.
Spend gold on what you field
Resources are finite, so upgrade the heroines who actually see battle. A lean, leveled squad beats a bloated bench of neglected girls.
Keep a reserve. Events arrive without warning and the best event rewards are usually gated behind upgraded squads.
Respect the timer, plan your moves
Timed battles punish panic. When the countdown is running, the instinct is to grab any match — but a calm look for the cascade move usually ends the fight faster.
If a fight is going badly, take the loss and rebuild. Retrying with a counter lineup beats burning resources on a bad matchup.
Treat events as milestones
Themed events are the best source of rare heroines and big payouts. Plan around them: save a reserve, upgrade event-relevant colors and time your push.
Events also reset the ladder, so they are the moment to make a ranking run if you have been hovering one position below a reward tier.
Climb with a goal, not just momentum
Decide what you are playing for before each session: a floor to clear, a heroine to level, a league position to defend. Sessions with a clear target feel shorter, spend resources better and leave you with something to show for the climb instead of just another row of cleared floors.
And when the tower grows quiet, the events will not. Log in for the limited-time content, keep the roster rotating and keep at least one color upgraded for whatever the next event demands. The climb stays fresh when there is always a next target on the board.
